Prepare For Your Cleaning

One or two days before to your carpet or furniture cleaning appointment with NationWide Carpet Cleaning, we will phone you to confirm the details of your appointment. If you have any questions or concerns prior to then, please feel free to contact us.

Pre-Vacuum
Carpets like to hide a lot of dust, hair, and soil. Just as you vacuum or sweep laminate or tiled floors before mopping or cleaning, it is just as important to make sure that your carpet is thoroughly vacuumed before we arrive for your appointment. This makes an amazing difference in carpet cleaning results!

Remove Breakables
Prior to our arrival, please clear tables and floor space of breakable items such as plants, lamps, or ornaments.

Furniture
We can move most furniture such as small tables, chairs, or regular sized sofas or loveseats. Anything large and stationary such as beds or dressers, electronic items, bookcases or cabinets, we will do our best to clean around, as close to, or as far under as we can safely reach.

Pets
We love animals! But there are a few things to keep in mind when it comes to your pets and our services.

The last thing we want is for your pet to escape, as the door to your home will be slightly open as we come in and out throughout your carpet cleaning appointment.

The carpet cleaning unit is quite loud and can be scary for your furry pal; if they hate your vacuum, they probably won’t like ours much more.
Our shiny equipment (hoses & tools), as well as our cleaning products, might present themselves as interesting items to your pet, which could be dangerous for them.

Plan your furry pal’s day ahead of time, and have a contained & safe space for your pets to be during our time in your home.

Day Of Cleaning

Time Frame:

AM: we will telephone you between 7 & 7:30 AM to give you your approximate window of arrival between 7:30 AM & 12:00 PM.
PM: we will telephone you Mid-Morning with your approximate window of arrival between 10:30 AM & 3:30 PM.

Parking
For houses & townhouses we require a driveway, or legal parking area, within (approximately) 30 feet of the entrance to your home. For apartments we require legal, above ground visitor parking on site for the duration of your appointment.

Payment
We accept Debit or Credit Card [Visa, MasterCard, or American Express].

Unfortunately, we do not accept personal cheques or e-transfer.

Area Rug Preparation

On the days leading up to your area rug pick up, we will call you to confirm your appointment details and answer any questions you may have. If you have any questions or concerns before we call you, do not hesitate to contact us.

Before we arrive, please pre-vacuum your area rug. Your area rug can capture a lot of dirt and debris, so pre-vacuuming will remove any loose debris before cleaning.

Leave your area rug unrolled for pre-cleaning inspection. If there are specific spots on your area rug that you are concerned about, please mention them to your technician when they pick up your area rug.
We accept credit card or debit payment at the time of pick up.
The total amount of time it takes for an area rug to be professionally cleaned is approximately 7-10 days. At NationWide Carpet Cleaning, we allow for thorough drying and re-cleaning if necessary. When your area rug cleaning is complete, we will call or email to arrange a drop-off date.

Clear the space, leading to and surrounding your furniture, of any plants, lamps, breakables, and other items like throw pillows so we have clear access of all sides of your furniture.
